Article Marketing & List Building: How to Promote your Ezine & Build your Own Hyper-responsive List

Your online financial power comes from having your own information products, services, and programs that you can market to your targeted, ideal prospects. It’s nearly impossible to make really big money online, without a targeted list of prospects.

Every successful marketer – both the direct marketer and the Internet Marketer, will tell you that the gold is in your list! “Build your list. Build your list”, they say. But, if you can’t get that list, the gold stays put at the end of the Internet rainbow you’re chasing.

Here’s How You Can Promote Your Ezine So You Can Start Building Your List of Prospects Who Want to Hear From You Right Now:

1. Find the best sites, directories and ezines that accept article submissions.

You need to find websites that are highly visited and ezines that are the most read. But more important, you want to focus on websites and ezine publishers within your specific niche that have strong emotional connections with your targeted audience. Through our research for best-selling author Mark Hyman MD, we found information for a popular About.com editor. About.com is among the top 50 sites on the net today. With just one submission to About.com, Dr. Hyman built his opt-in subscriber list and helped push his book, “UltraMetabolism,” to the top of the New York Times Best Sellers List.

2. Write a 500-750 word article that increases credibility, establishes you as the expert, improves your Search Engine Optimization (SEO) rankings, and builds a targeted list of ezine subscribers you’ve been dreaming of all at the same time.

If you fail to do that, no one will join your list. Think of the unique reason people will want to read your material – and tell them!

4. Submit your article and start building your list of hyper-responsive prospects.

Now is the time to perform the tiring, boring and tedious task of submitting your articles. But, as you’re completing this process, know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. By using these article marketing strategies, you can build your list of warm ready-to-buy visitors that can lead to substantial increases in book, product, or service sales.

5. Maximize your list building and article marketing efforts by following up with key online publishers.

If you’re a smart article marketer, you don’t consider your list building and article marketing project complete until you have thanked key online editors, and invited them to discuss other marketing opportunities.

Targeted Network Marketing List Building

If you are interested in concentrated network marketing list building, you are already aware that you can’ go into it without a strategy.  List building, the process of getting people interested in your service and holding their attention, is something that every company must work with, and if you are in a place where you can think about it, you are going to be in a place where you need to excel at it! 

When you have gotten your website set up, be aware of what it is.  For many people, it will be your only point of contact with your customers, and it will also be the place where you will make that all-important first impression.  This isn’t something that you can afford to let slide, so make sure you keep a few things in mind.

When you are working on a splash page, remember that you will want to keep things simple.  Flashy graphics aren’t going to impress anyone here, but hard facts and paid benefits do.  You’ll find that by using tried and true formulas, like red headlines and bold black bullet points, you’ll be able to catch the eye and then keep it moving down the page.  One way that you can keep them reading is to have most of your information on one vertically oriented page; this gives the impression of forward movement that the browser won’t even be aware of.

When you are looking into list-building, you’ll see that plenty of people are willing to sell you lists.  There are many viewpoints on this practice, but for the most part, remember that the best leads you get will be the ones that you work on yourself.  You’ll find that leads that have been bought and paid for are less useful, and might only give you names of people who are only peripherally interested in what you have to offer.  Remember that a good lead is one that will have a real interest in what you do and is happy to have found you.

Remember that when you are list building that you have to have something to offer.  You will find that there is a great deal of interest when you can give away something for nothing, so see what you can do about putting out an email newsletter that they can opt into.  Make sure that you reward your list for being a part of your business.  Send out advance notice of new deals, or make up some list-exclusive coupons and goods.  Take some time to show your list that you do appreciate them, and make it clear that anyone on your list will be receiving certain advantages.

List building is a vital part of online network marketing, and you’ll find that ignoring it will only see your business spiral downwards.  Take some time to really think about what your list has to offer you and what you can offer them; do not underestimate the power of this important resource!

Start Building Your Opt-In Email Lists Today

No matter what product you are marketing on the internet, your own opt-in email lists are a crucial part of the success equation. You have probably heard this before, but did you take action?

Your opt-in list is the vehicle you will use to contact potential customers and build a relationship with them. You promise useful and valuable information in exchange for their email address. Once you successfully deliver on this promise, they will begin to trust you.

If you over deliver by providing even more than was expected, they will not only trust you, they will begin to like you. This sets the stage for the all important conversion from prospect to customer.

This process takes time and patience. It is the stumbling block that almost derailed my internet marketing dreams. Thank goodness, someone told me how to speed up my list building.

There are many list building programs on the internet. Some are free, some cost more than others, and some just don’t work. Here are a couple of quick tips to help you choose.

If you need a commercial size inbox, you will read very few, if any, of the thousands of emails you receive. The recipients of your email, will probably respond in the same manner. Make sure your will receive a manageable number of emails each day.

If you can only mail those you bring into the program, it is unlikely they will read or respond to the same offers from you for very long. Look for a list building program with a rotating pool of recipients.

Find a list building program that is focused on growth. Does the owner provide incentives for introducing people to the program? More important, are you comfortable recommending it? At the very least, only join programs that offer a free trial. This will give you an opportunity to evaluate their services before making any financial commitment.

Your singular goal in any list builder is to steer every contact to your opt-in page and get them on your list. Everyone on the internet is looking for information to solve a problem. Provide that solution in a free report, newsletter or ezine and your prospect will gladly give you their email address in exchange.

Never forget that these programs place you in contact with folks interested in your product, but you do not own the list. Make those prospects yours and prosperity will follow.
